Thanks for the complements. This car color does seem to get the complements whereever I go. It is darker than a maroon color and the name is actually pretty true to the color of the paint (PPG Dark Cranberry #73866). I would suggest getting a sample from a paint store to get an idea of the actual shade because photos don't quite capture it. This photo I think is pretty close to the true color:

I understand it is quite a process to customize the flat bottom belly, but it does make it kind of showy like those SEMA cars with mirrors with the "up the skirt" views. I got the car like that from some very maticulous dude. I know Steve Wilkinson has done a few, so maybe he would be a good source to ask if you are interested in doing it. I am sure any skilled hot rod builder may know too. I believe it was powder coated too, but not sure.
