Does anyone know how much force it takes?

Does anyone here know how much force it takes to slide the ZF selector in and out of each gear?
Here is why I am asking, I am having to go through the old shifter linkage game once again. I think it is kind of silly to have to go through this adjustment process. SO I am toying with the idea of a remote shifter. Now I am not talking about some fancy paddle shifter with a computer interface. I am talking about either an electric or hydralic platform that responds from remote activation. Sort of like the clutch does only in a much more complex manner. I guess I could measure this force myself but if someone has some knowledge about the forces required it could save me time and effort.
