Door Handle Bucket

I purchased mine from Wilkinson. I do not remember the price but it was reasonable. I compared them to the originals and they looked identical. They also fit as original. If your door handles do not pull back into the housing this would be a good time to replace the springs. They were not expensive. Installing them however was a pain.

Did he just provide the buckets, or additional parts?

PI used to list new buckets that also included a new pivot shaft, but a check just now did not show them listed any longer??

PI has them listed in the "new parts" section.

Bought my replacement buckets from Steve Wilkinson.

Dead ringer for the originals and they came with the pivot shaft and spring.

I bought them 6-08. The buckets were $62 each. Not cheap, but the fit was perfect and the material weas equal or better than the OEM.

The springs I remembered as reasonable were in fact pricey at $12 each. But they appear specific to this application.

Yes they come with the pins ... included in the price.

I paid $60 each for mine in 04/2007. They also included the springs.

I sent both pair to PI Motorsports for chroming, new springs, new buckets. My old buckets were fine, but the chrome was very scratched. Figured if I was going to have to dis and re assemble for chroming, why not get PI to do it once and right. Total damage was a healthy $240 or so, but...

I got my 'original' buckets back and sold on ebay for $85/pair, so 'net' outlay of $155 very reasonable. The new ones work/look perfect.

Talked with Wilkinson this week.

Yes, he has buckets. Yes, they come with a new rivet.

No, springs are extra. The single OEM spring is not available. He replaces with two (not as strong) springs.

2 buckets, 2 rivets, 4 springs: $143.66 plus shipping and applicable tax
