Is there a trick to getting the door latch out? I've got the interior & exterior handles removed along with their control rods. The nylon covered, horse shoe shaped latch catch has to go through a round hole in the door frame. It would go through if I could angle it enough, but the welded bracket that supports the exterior handle & lock is right in the way. Any suggestions? Rodney.
