The cracking of the plastic box of the doorhandles went too far recently on my car. It is not really possible to repair the cracking by welding/bonding the plastic. I just wanted to share my mechanical fix for this cracking. Drilled two 1mm diameter holes and inserted same size wire and 2 tiewraps to close the cracking. It is holding up nicely for the last 3 months.

here in the states, new reproduction plastic buckets are about $150 each, and there are two vendors selling billet aluminum versions for considerably more, but you get what you pay for.
if you ever decide you want to buy some new replacements, I would be happy to act as a middleman and re-ship them for likely much less than the vendor would charge you.
small parcels to Europe, under 1 pound, 454 g, are a very affordable option for light packages, although it has been a few years since I’ve used that method
