Sorry, wasn't sure how to attach a photo as part of my reply. Here are two views (side and top) of the installed (driver's side) 2" dropped floor pan. Note the seat rail reinforcement bars shown in the top view. These come with pre-welded nuts to allow mounting of early or late model seat rails. They must be welded in place after the pans are welded to the car. Providing it this way allows you to move the rails "inboard" to eliminate the original steering wheel offset. In the side view, you can see the rear slope of the pan. It is a little lower in the back. These particular pans have been installed in many cars since 1982. They DO NOT require cutting of the cross-member or any additional structural modifications.
