All,

2511 has aftermarket electric mirrors which a receipt lists as "Hall electric mirrors" I have heard them referred as being OEM for a mid-eighties Dodge Colt/Omni.

Does anyone REALLY know the year/model these mirrors came from? I'm trying to source spares.

Larry, our '72 runs junkyard '80-or-so Dodge Omni cable-adjusted mirrors; triangular wedge-adapters are necessary to get the proper angle if they are RTV-ed to the glass. Other electric mirrors that fit include certain late Ford and BMWs, both of which also need different multi-angle adapters for both sides to work right on Panteras. All these mirrors were originally screwed to a metal plate, not glued to the glass, so mounting them as we do changes things considerably. My famous 'adapters' are flat-black-painted white pine! Easy to carve & the price is right....
