Members on this bulletin board (aka: BB) routinely go above and beyond for each other. It is possible, if you inquire further (and ask nicely), that someone headed your way may be able to bring it to you (when they can, of course). This engine is what you're looking for, and it's a good price, so I say don't give up on it too easily. Clevelands are few and far between. Good luck!

I didn't mean to sound ungrateful. I know it is probably a good deal. Then again I don't have a machine shop and a rebuild may be more costly than finding a running engine. I am willing to pay up to $800 or so for a running engine, which I know is not a lot of money for a good 351C. If anyone else has something I would appreciate hearing about it. In the meantime I'm going to call Erik and get some more info on the engine. Then I may see if anyone is making that sort of trip. Thanks for the encouragement. - Peter
