I know this topic has come up in the past and that a few of these conversions have been done as well. I just want to revisit it for a minute. I have a 427 sideoiler that I want to install in my 72 Pre L car. I have found the zf adapter but was told it is about 1 1/2" wide. This will offset the engine forward. My question is, will the 427 still fit? Does anyone know about motor mounts for such a conversion? How well am I going to get to know my local fabricator? Wiring issues with the conversion?
