The vents would most likely be Hall parts. as there are many Hall Pantera parts on the car.
Tara's email, while I have it,you can get it off ebay, as she sells under panteragirl.
Before pics, look up the car on the registry, you will see the before pics.
As the car is 30 + years old I can drive it LHD, it's just harder.
The grills on the front, I am not a fan of, but they are there so there they stay ! I would have rathered grills above the radiater !
I don't understand the benefit of grills above the wheels, perhaps someone can teach me ??
Tonight is it's first cruise night !
Oh and thanks for your nice comments Smiler

The theory is it helps to remove the air built up in the wheel wells. The Superbird vents were originally said to provide clearance for the wheels. Designers latter fessed up that it helped remove a build up of air pressure in the wheel well. Several other cars had variations:

I am playing with a couple things and I wanted to add mine since I am making some of the changes I am. I have even gone to the trouble of welding several nuts at different locations in the underside to experiment with a belly pan. All air through the radiator will be coming out of the top of the hood; none will go under the car.
...Those 'Fender Vents' were on a second Pantera I sold a couple of years ago! Yes, they look 'Trick'. They are also thin, delicate and bend easily. The worst is the tire throws dirt up through them and all over your nice shiney fender. Your belly pans would cure this. Do you really want to spend the time, money and cut up Your Fender? Had to throw in My 2 cents!...

HA, I seem to have thrown the rule book out the window on this car. Short answer, I think so. I am trying so many things good or bad. When I restore #1280 it will be as stock but this car is so far from that I am letting my imagination run a muck!
Thanks for all the comments.
the vents were on the car when I got it, so I didn't cut anything up.
The air pressure thing makes sense.
One thing the guards have dents in the wheelwells from the inside, from when the prev owner picked up some rocks when driving high speed 150 mph !!

And for those who asked,
Rims 18 x 8 and 20 x 10
Tires 225/40/18 and 345/25/20

I should have gone a wider rim, but I was told atthe time it was 10 inch wide or 15 inch wide !
so I stayed with 10's
