I recently finished installing A/C on a customers car using a kit sold by Precision Proformance. It uses the front mount Condensor.
The kit came with no instructions to speak of just a diagram showing approximate hose routing and wiring mods for the pressure switch. I called Bob and he gave me a general idea of where the parts mount and the charge capacity of the system.
He said to mount the Condenser Core to the Radiator but I could not get this configuration to work and get the hoses to route properly. I ended up mounting the Condenser to the car and then made new Raidator mounting brackets to move the radiator up and back at the bottom and pitch it less at the top. This leaves about a inch between the two components. Bob gave me an Idea of where the Dryer mounts so I put it there and then double checked that the tire would clear. I hole sawed a hole in the firewall and ran the two hoses in the front wheel well using the factory retaining tabs. The compressor hoses are routed one in the Rocker and the other in the console area.
Over all the biggest headaches were mounting the condenser and radiator to get everything to clear properly and I had to have 3 hose ends changed. Luckily there is a Parker hose place a Block from me. The hoses for the compressor came with tube o-ring ends and my compressor was flare type. This system is R12. Another hose I had a 90degree end changed for a straight.
Here are pics of the system
