My thoughts ...

Kingston is a beautiful old college town on the shore of Lake Ontario, reminds me a bit of Eugene Oregon. A charming town to hold an event. The cars are displayed on a roadway immediately alongside a green park filled with big trees. A beautiful setting. The hotel and its accomodations are fantastic, the staff was friendly, and it has the only underground parking in the city, where the Panteras are protected from the elements and vandalism. The scenery on the way to Kingston is lush countryside and north-east style forrest.

This is a first class event, kudos to those involved in its planning and execution. Kudos to all those who took the time to contact owners and stay on top of getting people to attend. When you put an event like this together you learn one thing, there is a symbiotic relationship between the event and the attendees, both are needed for success. So kudos also to all the attendees.

It was a joy to meet all who I had the chance to meet, to put faces to names, to see your cars in person, meet your lovely spouses and to make new friends. I love you all. Serving the Pantera community is all the more rewarding when its personal, when I'm helping friends and acquaintances rather than strangers. Thank you for making me feel welcome. I will be back, to catch up with all my new friends.

That's Mark C in the upper left wearing the black baseball cap, and David B waving. I love you guys.
George,
Thanks for the update, I'll go look into photobucket (I have a flickr id, maybe I'll test that out too).

I regret not taking any shots while driving in the convoy, so I've tried to make up for it by editing one of the shots to add some speed Cool

Ok, I have uploaded a few more videos. Make sure you select "watch in high quality."

1 – A pan across the setup on Brock Street and a walk down the backside of the cars

2 – Another walk up the street and the fronts of the cars

3 – The cruise to brunch at the marina. I pass all the cats then pull over and let them pass me. Check out the sound of Will’s car as he passes me at around 2:10. Crazy.

As if I didn't feel bad enough about misssing Kingston. Looks like you guys had a great time. Som new Canadian cars and a bunch of our American friends. Thanks to everyone for your well wishes and pictures. I was just feeling like I had a handle on most of the
car/driver/wife permutations. Now I have to start again.
I'm feeling better each day after the little detour through the hospital on the long weekend. love the signage this year. Gavin
Gavin,
As one of the new guys, I was looking forward to meeting you and your awesome Fyr Breather, and was sorry to hear you were in hospital.
Glad you're back out and on the mend, and I look forward to meeting you and the monster cat in the near future Cool
All the best for a speedy recovery (and don't worry, I won't expect you to remember my name right away, I'm having trouble putting names to faces m'self ... thank goodness David and George took all those shots of us with the cars!)
