Are you the owner/maintainer of an original Pantera? Stock air cleaner, original steering wheel, etc? If so, then I understand an original looking floorpan replacement. And I don't know if anyone has tooled up to make one of those. Start calling around and see - and good luck.

But if your car is already modified, I can't believe any future owner would deduct points - or money - upon finding a well done, plain steel replacement.

I agree with George 100%. If you are replacing the pans anyway there really is no reason not to do the dropped pans. I am 5'7" and fit the car fine, however when my best friend who is 6'3" rides shot gun it is a struggle. Second, if you ever decide to vastly improve the comfort level of your seats over the stock units you will increase the options of what seats will fit tremendously, Third, if you ever decide to try autocross or something that requires a helmet you will appreciate the extra headroom.

Kirk?

All of the dropped floor pans I'm familiar with only drop the seat area. Several types available are a "cut to fit" design and require allot of fab work. My design is a fitted pan which is relative simple to install. The front area under the peddles has some shape but if your not interested in an exact duplicate part, you can probably have something made. The problem is that if your floors are rotted that bad, there is most likely other areas as bad worse----lets hope not. If you need rebuild help, I have many pictures of various cars we've rebuilt---some which were very bad rust reconstructions. Let me know if you need help. Good luck.
