Fluidyne/Flexlite/FlowKoolerWaterpump installed!

Lots of work on the Pantera this weekend. My father and I installed an aluminum high flow "Flow Kooler" waterpump, the Fluidyne Radiator, duel sucker Flexlite Fans and new silicone hoses. The radiator was leaned forewards to leave more room for the fans and the hood vents to do their work.

Prior to this weekend, the Pantera would see 230+ degrees in hot weather and traffic with no AC on. Today, I drove in very hot weather, in traffic, around town, with the AC on for about an hour and the temps never saw more than 180 degrees.

Yipee! I might actually make it to Vegas this year!

I installed a Fluidyne radiator also, same basic setup. Waiting for motor to be done next week, so I can try it all out soon. It's good to hear from someone that this setup works.

also worth noting, my old radiator was hooked up backwards. I hear that the proper set up is for the top hose on the radiator to connect to the waterpump inlet (drivers side tubing). So that's what I did with the new radiator. Everything is working superbly.

In looking at your images...you might benefit from blocking the air flow over the top of the radiator.

The stock system used a panel from the hood hinge panel over the top of the radiator.
(Also had side panels.
)
You want all the air you can get going thru the radiator, and not over, under or around it.
