The clutch I purchased from PI doesn't have the same bolt pattern as my flywheel (Centerforce on the flywheel, stock Ford on clutch). I am ordering a new flywheel from PI to guarantee everything works well.

When the old flywheel was removed, it slipped and I have no idea where the offset weight should be. Is this a problem, or will my mechanic know what to do?

They don't have a lot of Pantera experience, so I like to be knowledgeable...how DO you know where the weight goes?

Thanks for the input everyone. My mechanic said all the same things. He knows what he is doing, but I wanted to know how it works as well.

Final update:

The master cylinder, aluminum flywheel, clutch, throwout bearing, and hub(?) where installed and it resulted in three things:

1. The aluminum flywheel didn't change the behaviour of the car much.

2. It takes more pressure to press the clutch now.

3. The vibration in the motor is gone now. Which means it obviously wasn't the motor, but rather the old clutch or flywheel. Nice!

I loved this car from the moment I saw it, and every time I fix or update it I love it more.
