Well I found the problem with my engine - basically all the bearings (main and big end are shot). In addition, the 4 bolt main block has been bored to +030 and so in the Pantera application, I am very much aware from people in the community that if it were to be bored to +040, I would get serious overheating issues...
So can anyone help and advise where I can get a replacement block (preferably here in the UK), so I can get it cleaned and machined ready for a rebuild with my existing 4V quench heads which look great now they (and the block) have been acid cleaned?
