Here's the story. I have a Ford SVO marked aluminum high rise intake manifold. It is marked M-9424-E351.
This is a manifold that was made for the newer Yates "Cleveland" heads on a 9.2" deck height Cleveland block.
This one is new in that it has never been on an engine.
As delivered new, they are "semi-finished" in the sense that they need to be port matched to the heads you want to mate them to, and the plenum is cast primarily to be used as a restrictor plate in racing where the size of the carb is limited to I believe 450cfm carb?
As a result of this the original manifold weighs in at 39 pounds as cast. This particular manifold now weighs 27 pounds.
It is an "air gap" manifold. It has been internally ported as a street/track manifold rather then a flat out drag racing manifold, but still has potential to go there with more porting. It has no heat crossover or carb heating provisions. It has 50 hours of porting into it now.
It is 6.50" high to the base of the carb.
These manifolds list for $1,250, new. I didn't pay that and don't expect that either.
Take a look and see if you have any interest in it and drop me a PM if interested with an offer. I might consider trades on it but would prefer cash.
It is matched to my Motorsport A3 heads. That means it will likely fit other heads in that series as well. B351. C302, etc.
Thanks.
