If you're heading toward a tilt-up front end such as some show and race cars use, be aware that the Pantera body is known as a monococque type. ALL structural rigidity comes from the welded together one-piece body. This is true of Porsches as well. By making the front end a tilt-up or otherwise removeable, a complete front subframe will be needed, or the car will bend of its own weight at the front firewall. The front suspension attach points and shock mounts will need to be carefully calculated in your new frame to be as good as Mr Dallara first designed, or you'll wind up with a heavy, undriveable machine that looks like a Pantera sportscar. This can be done but will NOT be cheap.
