Does anybody know how big a fuel cell you can place in the original gas tank area. Pantera #2245 Jason Eaton says he can fit a 20 X 17 X 12.75 in that spot. Can any one confirm this.

PCNC member Bob Benson has a fuel cell in his Pantera made by Fuel Safe. He doesn't have the measurements, but told me he bought it through Byers, but Quella has the rights to the design with them, so the purchase went through Quella I believe.

I have a Fuel Safe cell in my car from Quella. The outside dimensions are very similar to the original tank. It holds about 1.5 gallons less because of all the foam and baffles.
Why limit yourself to the stock tank location? That really only works for racing with right-hand drive Panteras. Quite a few racers either used two 10-gallon tanks- one on each side in the rear with a connecting line, to better balance the car, or as D Quella uses himself in his roadracer- a single small (maybe 10 gal) flat tank up front under the hood, also for better balance.
