I am selling the engine that is currently in my 1973 GTS. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has about 1500 miles on that rebuild. The engine has electronic ignition, Holley Pro-Jection Electronic Fuel Injection, a Crane Roller Cam, Crane Roller Rocker Arms, a show quality polished aluminum intake manifold (edelbrock I think), polished DeTomaso aluminum rocker covers. It also comes with ceramic coated headers.
Additionally whoever purchases the engine gets the following:1) An extra Mallory electronic distributor, used. 2) An extra fuel pump, used. 3) A spare Holley Projection throttle body and injector assembly. 4)A spare throttle position sensor. 5) A spare Holley Pro-Jection control unit, the brain for the fuel injection.
The engine makes about 350 HP and around 325 ft/lbs of torque. The engine was recently treated to a new set of wires, platinum spark plugs, and ignition module in the distributor. The engine is in the car and can be demoed.
The engine is located in Suffern, NY, zip code 10901. The engine is extremely tight and runs great. Th reason I am selling is that I need the money for a Clevor I am building. I can send pictures to those who request them.
I am asking for $3500 or Best Offer. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping
