This is for my 72 Pantera GTS project that I received in February. The engine is newly rebuilt and It has TWM 8 stack EFI with Bosch injectors. I want to determine the health of the injectors before attempting the initial startup of the engine. I came across this unit on Amazon that tests and cleans injectors. It uses a spray can of carb cleaner, and an adapter that connects an injector to the spray can. Then with some button presses it sends electrical pulses to the injector and carb cleaner is shot through the injector and you can see its spray pattern. It tests and cleans an injector at the same time. It should readily let me determine if an injector is clogged, malfunctioning, or dead. I can compare the output of each of the eight injectors.

Does anyone have experience with this type of gizmo?

Numerous companies clean, flow test, and match injectors. Don’t have to guess.
