Fuel Leak?

Hadn't started the car in a while and flooded it trying. Once it started, there was fuel dripping. Parked it and got underneath the next day. Checked everyting, no leaks...let it run layed under it, ran it around....NOTHING

Could this come from the fuel tank vent?

Sounds like the fuel float in the carb was stuck causing the fuel bowl to overfill and flood the carb. Most likely it corrected itself letting the needle and seat stop the overflowing for proper operation.

be careful, you may have fuel in the oil. If the float stuck it might have allowed fuel to dump into the crank case.
