Fusebox

Hello all,
I have my Pantera since mid of last week and have couple of issues with the electrics. I found some modifications which doesn't look okay to me. The modification on the fusebox makes no sense to me (please see below photo). Does somebody has an idea what the purpose of the solded component is (connected to the yellow cables solded to the fusebox)? Thanks and best regards

Looks like an overcurrent protection device that opens like a fuse when the current detected it too high. It resets itself after it cools off.

Someone has replaced the fuse with a circuit breaker.

It appears to be fuse position #7, which goes to the relays for the air conditioning compressor clutch, the condenser fan, and the horn.

Is the Ato fusebox fully compatible with a 1971 Pantera (plug an play) or does it require additional modifications?

The ATO fuse panel from Jon Haas (Pantera Electronics) is fully compatible with your '71 Pantera, and it is plug & play.
