Well, the previous "My Garage" thread was shut down, so I couldn't add to it. About a year ago, I showed my leaning, cramped, ageing garage behind our house that was stuffed full. The Pantera was swapping space with another car or two, and well, my wife felt like after 3 years of being outside, her new car should get a spot. So...

I got a small, abandoned building downtown near work. Did some cosmetic things to it, plus bathrooms and all that. I'm not fully moved in, and they're to repaint one side of the floor so stuff is in disarray. But ONE PERSISTENT PI MEMBER NAMED JEFF UDELSON WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS, kept egging me on to snap a photo.

So, here's where I get therapy. Add your stuff to this, as we all air out our car(s) for spring...

Wow! Nice score Adams! I trust that for tax purposes, this is where you do some of your best "ideating" and thus the entire endeavor is a write off.

As far as "correct" colors go, it looks like the horsey at the end is dark blue? If so, very nice. If not, you can always re-paint as it is terribly redundant to have TWO horseys in black. Smiler

I think that you should park your wife's Viper in a different area because it's a bit too girly with those macho arse-engined cars. Big Grin

Thanks Mark. Actually, there are three black horsey cars, but one of them is "missing in action" at the moment. The interior of an 87 328 is in the WAY BACK being redyed/reconditioned by guess who, while the clutch is being redone by someone competent (guess who NOT??). That car should be back in a couple weeks.

The Viper a girlie car!?! Tell that to the Viper Club! Those guys are trying to corner the market on machismo, but that car is a flipping blast. Brutal, rough, insane, 3 time LeMans winner - a FUTURE collectible of the first order.

Holy Crap Adams. Is that a TESTOSTERONEROSSA in the back? Man, your F-car to D-car ratio is getting WAAAAY skewed... Sounds like we need to do an intervention. You should have at least bought a Mangusta before a third Ferrari...

OK, I admit it, I'm jealous.

I have many things skewed, I promise. Yes, that's a 512TR, Jan. 94 build date which means in the last 50 built, less than 10 in black/black, only year with ABS, upgraded diff carrier, revised steering rack, 421 hp stock, but previous owner did a Tubi for whatever that's worth. Sounds better anyway.

Hey, when you get that Mangusta done, we'll laugh about the condition it WAS in when we first met it!

Comp2 - nothing I do is very neat, surface appearance only, plus I'm not moved in fully or it'd be a wreck. My house garage has stuff strewn all over, no kidding at all.

Here's the 512TR if anyone cares...

Sorry about the obligatory sucking up.
Jeff

Never apologize for the obligatory sucking up -SOMEBODY needs to note what a good guy I am!

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm really just 9 years old emotionally (anyone nodding in agreement?) and these cars are a joy. I meet a few people through them - just like you guys - and have fun fiddling around with them.

It makes ZERO difference if there are 1 or 100 cars, or what they're worth, it's a fun hobby regardless.

I just got back from that little building, finishing up more leather work before I get out of town. Put the cars 'to bed' and hit the lights. Took one shot when I was leaving, hope you enjoy.

I hadn't even noticed that pole. Am I the only one visualizing something else wrapped around that pole now? Smiler

Clearly, you're a lesbian! (I hope you remember the hilarious joke that was on this board a month or so ago.)

I also didn't have all this stuff 640 posts ago. It just kept following me home!

Thanks to you guys. Appreciate the comments, and hope you'll stop in if you're ever in central Alabama as with many ON YOUR WAY TO FLORIDA. I'm literally 5 minutes from the interstate.

I WILL be getting a pad to wrap around the pole, good thought.

If it was MY pole, I would re-locate the fire extinguisher... Big Grin

A 6' section of 3 x 1 or 4 x 1 armorflex would be perfect ..the split type with glue strip...you can get at any HVAC supplier ... or paint it silver and get a HOTTY to dance around it ... should prevent you from bagging into it ?

LOL

You sir are a genius. Here I sit, with access to lots of HVAC contractors and didn't think about that.

Silver paint, lubricants and suitable lighting to follow.
