April 20-21-22 gatlinburg Tenn. There are always lots of cars for sale. Parts venders have displays. Thursday is pretty mild, by saturday night the cars cruise the streets and the crowd get a bit wild. The cops are pretty cool and look the other way unless you do something real stupid.There will be a thousand cars lined up on the bulavard with hoods open. Of course I will have ny Pantera backed in. I always have a good time. Year before last I had the only Pantera there. The drive in the mountians is worth the trip.Very friendly resort town. Book a room where you can see the bulavard from porch. I have a room at the Smokey Mountian Lodge See Ya' there!

We made the trip! All went well, the Pantera was a big hit. There was a crowd around it every day. Only 1 mishap. I had replaced a rear pad and did not bens the tabs over the caloper mounting bolt head, one fell out and the whole car shook. Lucky I was close to my nephews shop and he had a bolt. Glad I took the back roads. The mountians were beutiful, however wet.

A good place to go in NY is Lake George the weekend after Labor Day. The streetrodders are always booked there then. The weather is almost always perfect. The crowds are gone because the kids went back to school.
There are three patrol cars in the Sheriffs Dept. They can't chase everybody. The local merchants love the event. It puts a lot into the register.
The roads empty are fantastic driving roads around the lake.
