I stumbled across some of the very early round or domed profile side marker lights for the early Goose.
I have no idea which cars they are correct for, but I have only ever seen them on the earlier cars. Later cars got the trapezoid profile lamps that most are familiar with.
These are not the small diameter lamps, they are the same diameter as the trapezoid parts.
They are marked Carello and SAE 67.
I have a complete set of 2 red (used) and 2 amber NOS. One extra amber.
I would like $60 each for the 4 good ones (A to A+ condition) Plus $8 shipping (flat rate box or first class depending...on who's buying. $actual for international first class post.
The back sides still show clean galvanized steel, the nuts are shiny gold, there are black o-rings on them, and there are thread protectors on the threads still. The bulb holders are black plastic and have male spade connectors on them. I am not sure what originals had....
I'll try and get pictures up, but these are guaranteed to be as described and to the best of my knowledge, original Carello parts.
I also have some later model amber lamps, also NOS, that are slightly different than the trapezoid shaped..in that they have a recess in them at the top of about 1/16" which forms a ridge around the inner circle and they are slightly lower profile than the originals. I have seen these on some restored cars but I suspect that they are "replacements" in lieu of finding originals. Just in case someone is interested. $40 each plus shipping.
If you sanded down this ridge and polished it up you would have a very nice looking lower profile lamp!
I have not seen red versions of this lamp in any sort of quantities!
Ciao!
