Looks a very cool color, but I'm still not convinced that fender is gonna fit the Pantera

I don't know what I would have done without his help. Thanks Bro!
I'll post pics when there's more progress.
I have to go work my second job now to pay for this thing...

OOOO! This sounds fantastica! I tried to do research on blue. The darkest, the deepest, the pearliest the best. Sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Can't wait to see it,
I love the colour too, Will. And the wheels. And the fit. And the exit for your 180s.
AWESOME !!!! What else can I say.

Somehow I missed this thread in the past and just read it from the beginning. Was surprised to see picks of my car being repaired at PI in there.
I am totally jealous as I really want a GT4 car.

I'm working on painting the rear inner panel. I've got the spoiler mounted and having the hardware painted. Johnny Woods has my A-arms for modification.
Not really worth taking pics right now. No wheels or trim are on. I'll snap a few shots in a couple of weeks.

Looks awesome Will! I especially love the new "wind in your face" zero-windshield design.
And yes, you should add rear bumpers just for the detail. Go for the metal Euro style in black. After all, it might as well be EXACTLY the way I want it!

Will,
Looks awesome, that black is soooo deep and reflective.
I'm in two minds about bumpers, but if any would go with Mark's choice of the small euro bumperettes.
Did you go with Kodiak/Larry Stock wheels in the end then?
Julian

No I went with Wilkinson. I waited for months for Kodiak/Stock and then cancelled. Then Larry wouldn't give me my money back. I hadd to threaten him with credit card fraud to get my money back.
I then ordered wheels from Precision Proformance and Don tried to send me rear wheels with a ~6" backspacing ( I was asking for 4.375"). That order was cancelled.
Wilkinson was the only one that would look at my drawings and send me what I needed.Steve is a great guy once you get to know him.

Just a quick side note. Two earlier pictures on this thread show the rear stabilizer bar fitted BELOW the rear control arm.

And also on this car:

Mine are mounted above the rear control arm.
What's with these two cars above? Do they have different lower rear control arms or is something wrong with mine?

Great looking car Will !!
After all the discussions we had about wheels, tires, sizes etc. ... The wheels look fantastic. Can't wait to see it in the flesh when I pick up a few things from you.
About the bumpers ...
In your case, my taste would be to go with the Kirk E's. Why? With no muffler cut-outs, and no condensor grill, your rear panel looks very "clean" and "prominent" to me. The Kirk E's would balance against that quite well IMHO. (I am shooting myself in the foot because of the dibs I have - but that is an honest opinion).
HTH.
Robert, Will has the same stock lower A-Arms. He has adjustable anti-roll (stabilizer) bar ends. These were offered by Hall. Don't know if they are still available from the vendors.
Cheers,
B.G.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
I have GR5 sway bar system that was offered by Cory Gelling at Collectors choice. Not too common. I've only seen a few other cars with the same set-up.

Kirk is at the moment refining the small bumper system. His new design looks great. Drop him a line.

Will,
Your car is looking gorgeous. I think you should polish the stainless bit around the key hole on the door handle. Otherwise it's too much black paint. Here's a pic of how I did mine.
I too think you should put small Euro style rear bumpers on it. Get them form Kirk Evans if he makes them because his stuff always fits perfectly.
Johnny

I agree Johnny. I should've thought of that when I painted them. Gonna be hard to get the epoxy paint off now.
I will go with the Evan's bumpers because I already have them. Wish I had never filled those holes....

That's it: you can't come out west this summer. Cat looks too good!
OzGT5 (Guest)
I think that having filled the holes might be better. Just modify different fittings and glass them into the rear of the bumpers.Doesn't need any more than a couple of 8mm bolts with plate washers on the inside.

I'm thinking the back looks a little naked. Should I go with the Evan's rear bumpers again??
Will
your car looks exactly like what my dream car would be. AWESOME!
Bumperettes front and rear.
So I went to Will's house today to look at the car for the first time after paint and I am sooo jealous. The car looks awesome I expect a ride after all this Will!!!
Will,
Don't you think it is about time for some fresh pictures????

OK Ron, here you go.....
Finally got it all buttoned up. Went out today and all went well. Went for gas and smoked a WRX getting on the hiway. About 50 "thumbs up" for a 30 minute drive.
It's nice to feel the rumble after a long winter and alot of work.

DAMN! 2 times! First for your cars looks. It is great. I want wide fenders too! Second, for forgetting about those bumpers. They are forgotten in the trunk of my car. Sorry about that. Just PM me your address, and I will have them mailed to you ASAP.
Your car is beautiful. I really like the exhaust exits. Great Job!
Drool. Slobber. Drool some more. Fantastic car!
All I can say is ".... GO GETTEM ...."
There, I said it.

I haven't decided on the bumpers yet. I like/have both. I'm not going to rush about the decision. I do that all too often, then I regret it.
It's been a long winter. At times I thought I was crazy for cutting up a perfectly good car. Now it's time to drive!
Will
Will,
So.... was it worth it and would you do it again -- I think I know the answer, but inquiring minds want to know.

Do it again? Yes. But I'm glad That I had Sam Civello to help me with the project. He has what I don't. Patience. And he is really good with metal fab and welding. Otherwise, I would have had to send it to a shop and paid big bucks. He had patience to help me line everything up properly. He and I are happy with the end result. It helps to have the tools and the resourses OR a ton of cash to send it in and have someone else do it.
