Ground for front running light

I believe it grounds up under the dash. Sounds like some typical electrical issues. Are you aware there are schematics available? Mike Dailey's website www.panteraplace.com has excellent schematics of each individual circuit and schematics are available from the vendors. I believe they are posted for sale on evil-bay right now from a fellow Pantera owner.

Thanks, Yes, I've been to Mike's site, wasn't clear where the wire actually grounded. Are you sure under the dash on the lug?

Alot of the grounds are right there at the point of action. Grounbing is a major PITA on our cars. You can never overdo a ground ;-)

Is that lug accessible from under the dash? I looked up from the floor directly in front of the tach, don't see it.

It's located behind the tach, welded to the overhead steel cowl. It has 6 or 7 wires attached.

Make sure your bulb holders are clear of any rust. This may also cause issues.

Stud points down? Or back?

Can it be accessed from under the dash?

I found, at least on my car, the "behind the tach" to be some what misleading. Try thinking behind the hazard switch and inch or two, almost on the drivers side kick panel. My hazard flasher was actually mounted on the same stud so the view was blocked. Locate your hazard flasher and check behind that.

Did you ever find the ground? I examined the physical location on mine. The best way I can describe it would be: On the drivers side dash is the VIN plate, the stud is mounted under the dash about 1/2 inch to the right of the VIN plate.

I fixed the light, turned out it was wired incorrectly. I stopped looking for the ground under the dash at that point. But I'll go check it out tonight and perhaps do a little preventive maintenance.
