GT5S factory info.

Jack, I asked Claudia at the De Tomaso factory to give me the engine specs for GT5S #9535 and she had the following info on file. Mechanical tappets, carburettor has air chokes of 172 and 200. Thats it. Mechanical tappets I comprehend but what does the 172 and 200 bit mean ? Thanks.

Rick, I can't even understand the woman I live with.... but I'd guess that this refers to the airflow capacity, in cubic centimeters/minute maybe thru the carburetor venturi (primary & secondary) being used. Of course, we use cubic feet per minute at a particular vacuum drop to rate airflow. Sound faintly like a spreadbore type from the almost 9% difference in values frt/back.
