In a year it will be a year old Corvette. In thirty years, it will just be another old Corvette.

Our Panteras will always be the most perfectly designed classic, mid-engined sports car to see the light of day.

Owning a Pantera is not about having the fastest, quickest or newest - it is about owning a Pantera. And if you don't understand that, then you don't deserve to own one.

We've already beaten that thing. Wink

If those are official factory posted times then they are new.
Preliminary testing put the car second or third in production, not first.
The Corvette Z06's claim to fame was that it was the fastest for the money, thought to have a list price of around $75,000.
Of course things can change overnight and the big three are seriously into wanting to be King of the Hill.
Personally, I wanna stay with a non EPA Emissions controlled vehicle.
Here in NY my Pantera is no longer emissions tested since it is over 25 model years old. This is also my caution for people wanting an '80s something Pantera GT5S.
At the current time, there is no way the car will pass emissions in NY in the lower 5 counties stock.
