Wanted to wish you all a safe & happy Halloween with your families, but apparently that may not be appropriate ...

TDSB & Halloween

The Toronto District School Board - for fear of the potential to offend have suggested that school principals who feel they may offend should consider dropping reference to Halloween and start calling it "Black and Orange Day".

I don't want to start a whole thread on how stupi [strike that] how people may feel about this. I just wanted to wish you all a safe and happy evening with your families and neighbors doing what it is you do (or don't do) on this evening should you treat this evening any differently than any other evening - not that there's anything wrong with that one way or the other of course.

;-)

Happy Halloween! There, I've done it, I'm gonna be picked up by the Political Correctness Police now :-(

There's a whole bunch of holidays to look forward to in the spring as well...

Feb. 14th - Red and Chocolate Day
March 17th - Green and Beer Day
Late March to Early April - Pastel & Bunnies Day
...

Oh, and in case I forget, our friends south of the border should be celebrating Fall Colours & Turkey day soon...

Couldn't help myself ;-)
