1.Hall sells a speaker kit that goes up there.

2.Ed Naumann has installed a roof console adapted from a modern car that sits at the front edge of the headliner that has separate lights for each seat. It looks like it belongs there. Very good.

3.A lot of modern cars have a dome light that sits behind the front seats that has, in addition to the dome light that comes on when the door is open, 2 spot lights for reading aimed at each front seat that are separately switched by just touching the light cover. That sounds like a good, very usable solution.

Unfortunately, none are stock. %^))

I've got Halls speaker set and mine doesn't have any provision for a light.
In my case, I removed the header panel that the factory light mounts on anyway so I could move the speakers back as far as they could go.
I have a white LED that will mount on the speaker panel to replace that light eventually.
My interior isn't stock. The headliner is now black leather as well as everything else in the car.
Owe yeh, forgot, I put in an auto dim day night mirror, with compass and LED opera dimming lights in the head.
They work as courtesy lights when you open the door or you can flick 'em on to read the map when you're lost. For me that's important.
When I get lost I drive faster to get where ever I'm going, even though I don't know where that is...but I getting there fast. As you can tell I'm lost most of the time.
Black leather does need a lot of light.
Of course a lot of Pantera owners remove the windshield wipers. Maybe they remove the lights too and use night vision googles?

...I took out the stock 'Dome Light' and installed a small Aircraft 'Map Light' with a Micro Toggle switch at the same location; to turn it on when I need it. It has a red filter as Red does not spoil your 'Night Vision'. If I need 'White' Light, I can just remove the Slide On filter. By the way For MY 'Third Brake Light' I went with a 'Red Neon Tube'. It looks Incredible in the Night!, I'am thinking of adding the 'Shortest' Red Neon Tube under each dash as courtesy lights (One of These could also have been mounted as a replacement Dome Liight). I just like the Neon better than LED's. Although Neon does need to 'Heat-Up' a few seconds/minutes to reach it's FULL brightness; It looks its' Best, the Worse the Incliment Weather. Remember! "There is NO Substitute for RED!!". Just be advised that it is illegal to have it pointing Forward; (as my map light can do when swiveled). If you want to look for these particular lights just go to ebay and search 'Red Neon', they are Not very expensive...

do have any pictures of your set up? sounds cool! I have the Hall speaker system as well and it doesn't have any lights on it but it would be a good place to bolt/velcro/glue/screw some kind of map light to since it close to the small stock light. It would have to be a smallest light since it will be blocking the rear view mirror.Big Grin
