Has anyone else come across a T-Top Sunroof

bought my car 5/15 in Atlanta, being restored at present. It has a dealer installed T-Top configured sunroof, which I find highly unusual.

It is basically two large sunroof pannels running the length of the passenger and Drivers side, basically the whole roof with a structural side and mid section.

Was this a custom feature or an actual option on some of the cars?

Anyone know?
