Very slick. I especially like the height adjusters you designed. Should be smooth, quick, and best of all will hold the buckets solid and iliminate the famous headlight jitters. Keep the pics and information coming. I'm watching this one like a hawk.

Thanks, I would have to say the thought behind this came from years of radio controlled airplane construction and flight control hook up.

By the way, if you are looking at ordering the actuators, you might want to wait. I just ordered some smaller 2" throw actuators. I want to see if they will be viable. They are quite a bit smaller.

Very cool, would one actuator be enough to lift the existing mechanism i.e. just replace the OEM headlight motor/gearbox?
Johnny Woods came up with a neat adjustable stop from under the bucket that stopped up against the underside of the fender when the headlight was open to cure the 'jitters' Simple yet effective.

Yes if you have the full bar one actuator would be fine.
