New to posting. Posted in wrong forum.
Need help. 74 L. Headlight doors won't open. I moved motor away from door drive gear that mates with the 1/2 moon gear and motor operates fine in both directions.
I put a vice grip on the bar that connects both doors and dried to turn the bar to raise doors. Doors raise about 1/8 inch with a lot for force. Something is jammed.
The 1/2 moon drive gear is free from motor gear so I felt the doors should open when bar turned. They won't
Any suggestions.
