Heating up the A arms ???...

I cut them out ... cut the ends off with hack saw pushed the rubber out then gently .. used the hacksaw and sliced the outer sleeve and then tapped it out...the new ones pressed them in with a home made type of press.

...ditto. That's how I got mine out also. No sense in trying to save the old ones.

Thanks you guys! and Happy Thanksgiving!!.. I did exactly that, even after I cut the sleves on two sides (not quite all the way through but very, very close ) the sleves still would not budge... I heated the A arm w/my cutting torch and they finally moved. I just don't like heating them up... Now, I can't get the "Lower Support Shaft P/N 02113A" out of the pass side... These a arms are indeed a good time... Thanks!!..

I don't think that you are going to work harden the steel in the arms with this kind of heat.

I might have taken them outside and burned the rubber out of them first then put a cut in the metal sleeve and imploded them out of there. I like to do that kind of stuff.
