It looks like you hammered on the end of the bolt without a sacrificial nut on the end causing it to flare. I suggest you drive the bolt back in place, cut off the now useless damaged end. Then take the whole A-arm assembly to your friendly local shop where they should press it out for five bucks and your done.........well after you order a new A-arm bolt that is.
The bushing kits come complte with a new bolt and they are tapped for grease zerks on the ends so you can grease the bushings.

Actually the bolt sounds like it is seized in the center spacer tube so won't be easy to get heat in there. Some people advocate also installing zerks in the carrier for this exact reason.
...Here's a tip for ya! After you've soaked the shaft long enough; add a nut to the nut already on the shaft and 'Jam-Nut' them together! Now You can turn the shaft with a Socket and a Long 'Breaker Bar'. Once You get the Shaft to rotate You should be able to Press it out...
The shaft should rotate freely and normally should be easy to remove.

This post is a good one to remind us all that the lower shaft of the rear uprights should be modified so it can be greased and serviced regularly.

After you get the shaft out ... do not forget to replace the inner bearing sleaves (part #16 on the earlier posted drawing). They have a teflon coating on the inner face. I also think some of the washers have a teflon coating on their face (Part #15). In any case ... I replaced all the end washers as well when I installed my modified lower shaft kit.

I did this back in 1992. Haven't had a problem since. Check out http://www.panteraplace.com/page87.htm - it seems to cover it well.

Well... with nothing to lose, I leaned on it w/the press and finally got it to break loose. I decide to throw caution to the wind this morning when the local alignment shop declined to help me as soon as I said "Pantera"... Thank you very much for all your help and advice on this thread... I will indeed put the mod kit in this car!!...
I heated those A arms red hot and the outer bushing sleeve came out pretty easy... If had any advice to give to some one who is about to do this, it would be in reference to the A arm when removing the outer bushing sleeve and it would be two words... "red hot"... Now, I just hope my geometry on my A arms has not changed...
