Help with part ID

I have that original rubber strip installed on my bracket but, does this go between the motor and the body, between the legs of the bracket?

I had the same question, Jerry. But if you look very close at the photo, you can see the black gasket peeking out just a little bit below the base of the large bracket.

The gasket is holding the bracket off of the countertop.

I see it now, I did not have that mounting base.  Looking at the impressions on that insulator it was in contact with the motor.

I felt it was too tight to the driveshaft and would be super noisey solidly mounted . So I installed a 1"+ thick rubber spacer. So spacing it seems very critical.

I guess I will use the insulator as a template and fab something simple, The mounting stud length should give me a clue to thickness. Unless someone has a thickness measurement or has one collecting dust
