...someone must have a thousand pictures, ever inch of that car, somewhere? I think it was documented with a re-paint, and I suspect the headliner foam has been replaced...but that car seems to represent the closest thing to a "ground truth" on what a Mangusta was...Lee
The car sold at Mecum is 8MA1190. Restored by Wayne Carini. Sold for $418K with fees.
716 sold a YEAR ago at Mecum. There was only one Mangusta at Mecum 2023. It was 1190. Just go to their site and look at the results.

Oh, that clears for me that 8ma716 remains the high water mark for a Mangusta sale, as it should be: I'd seen that the auction price was $400k, but apparently the prices shown by Mecum here include the surcharge by Mecum.
HIgh prices, really, its amazing that a car with an average Ford 302-4V could be selling for more than say, a Ferrari 365 BB...Lucky us Lee
