Hillclimb Mangusta

Awesome! Thanks for posting those. I'd be really nervous driving a Goose that fast roads that twisty. What a great sounding car that looks like it's been really well prepped.

Well, you can take your very nice GT40 for roads like this then!

The location of this hillclimb is the place where the De Tomaso factory organized a hillclimb event during the meeting they organized in 2001. They herded all the cars there, telling the drivers that all the arrangements had been made and we had exclusive use of the course. Turns out their 'arrangements' consisted of having a couple of workers simply block traffic at the top of the hill! So we were charging up the hill using both sides of the road, and in the meantime people who lived on the course were coming out of their driveways and encountering Panteras going full speed! Before too long the cops showed up and then there was a bunch of arm waving and pointing and shouting, and then the rest of the 'organized' hillclimb was cancelled.
