HI. Anyone going to HOT AUGUST NIGHT'S?
Anyone been there? How is it, worth the trip from N.Y.? How long doe's it last and what goes on? Fles market - car corral - ROWDY group?

I haven't attended since 1999, but having moved back to Reno late last year it's one event I'm so looking forward to this year.
I believe the official HAN limit is around 5,000 cars, but that doesn't stop anyone with a Rod or custom bringing it to town. There's something for everyone and a real busy schedule all over town and up at Lake Tahoe to keep you occupied. This year it is being held between July 29 and August 6 (the Friday through Sunday being the best time and most crowded). The hardest part will be finidng accommodation, many of the hotel/casinos get sold out about a year in advance.
Normally I'd offer a room to a fellow Pantera owner, but I have family coming out from the UK at that time for the same reason.

Hot August Night is a great event,but the Woodward Cruise in Detroit is the biggest car show in the world. The cruise is every August. If you can do both GREAT, if you can't, go to Woodward.
