From the local media video they said the police estimate speeds around 200 mph. The skid marks start around where the flatbed is in the last picture. The telephone pole was snapped and spun upside down. When the police arrived they found 2 people near the car, both claim the driver "ran up the hill". So, how hard is it to put 3 people in an Enzo? One had blood on his face and only the driver airbag had blood on it. The police figured a fatality for sure, but it appears only minor injuries. I guess a cool mil buys alot of safety. Happened on the PCH. And the stupid will be punished.

News said the owner claimed to be the passenger. The driver was a man named "Detrich" who was unknown to the driver.

I forget who it is, but one of the guys on the forum tows a small trailer with his Pantera. Well, I'd like to have the front section of this Ferrari to serve as the basis for a small trailer to tow behind my Pantera. Whaddayathink?

Jeff, the article said Ferrari can fix this car good as new for a measly three hundred grand. So I guess it isn't totaled.

Kinda proves they way overcharged for it if they can replace it for a mere three hundred grand. 
I'm not sure, but I believe they listed for under 500k, the fact that only 499 were built drove the price to a million, not to mention you needed to have a Ferrari already in the garage, and a competion license to be a buyer.
I read in a car magazine a couple of years ago list price was 650,000k for an Enzo. You had to be a current owner of a Ferrari to purchase one, if one was available. Performance numbers were astronomical.So was maintenance. Oil change $2800, special order synethic oil from Shell. Ceramic brake pads $3800 not including labor. The Enzo is a street legal formula 1 car that requires maintenance every few thousand miles. Chuck
But you got matching luggage with the car so all in all it wasn't too bad a deal I guess.
