There were two input shafts used on Panteras, and thus two different clutch discs.

Dash 1, not used on many cars,was different than Dash 2.

I'm pretty sure they had different diameters, and that would probably mean different diameters on the guide tube.

But if you are having trouble mating parts that previously mated (prior to ZF rebuild) then obviously your rebuilder should be expecting a call from you.

The bearing is brand new and I pressed it onto the old hub. As soon as I went to slide the assembly onto the guid tube it was obvious they were not the same size. The guide tube I have is 35mm ( +/- chink caliper )and I need a 33mm or 34mm. The "new" guide tube ia one or two mm larger. There are new parts on the way to correct the problem ( I hope ). Thank you for your help, I need all I can get Smiler...
