Found this ID tag under my master cylinder sitting there. Its in German? What would this be in the car for? I think it went on top of one of the front fender wells.

German TÜV (ak MOT) requires a tag stating the manufacturer, chassis AND weight per axis. I added it to my car as a reimport from the US.
Looks like your car was once registered in Germany.
You can put it anywhere or if US registered NO NEED, is only Germany specific. I guess not DT original.
Well that goes with the story I had about the car. That it was in europe for a time. You added it to your car as a reimport? Youre not in the states?
