Ignition systems

Help. Who has a bulletproof ignition system? I have tried MSD, Ford oem/electronic, Accel using GM module. All systems have let me down. I suspect heat releated. I carry 6# GM modules (for when they overheat) & have routed away from heat sources. I keep threatening to go back to dual point. I do not want to spend a fortune. Just want a system that is reliable. Motor has been upgraded to 350 plus hp. Have owned car 20 plus years and this has been my biggest problem with car. Thanks for the website.

After 17 years with my car and many ignition versions and problems, the above has been totally reliable and so far bulletproof on a 520+ hp original 351C motor. I recently added an MSD box which retards the timing when cranking - solves those hot start problems.
