Has anyone unbolted and pulled back the complete instrument panel? I amagine you have to take the top off first which I know is pretty easy.
I want to remove the power brake unit.

I just did that to my Goose,you do not have to remove the dash.It does make it much easier when the dash pad is off. That way you can get to all the lines.I removed the master cylinder first, then the booster. Good luck.

Craig, I have done it before, took the master cylinder out to have it rebuilt but the rear seal was not replaced and now it is leaking.
I pulled the tach out and was able to get the master cylinder out with the top off of the panel off, a terrible job.
My back is permanantly bent.

Dick--I have some special line wrenches and such that I have modified to make this job easier. I would be happy to lend them to you.
Also, I recommend taping a piece of cardboard on the underside of the windshield. This helps in two ways, obviously protecting the windshield, but I also found it easier to work in the car without the glare from the outside into my eyes.
