I saw a recent ad for 32 valve Cleveland heads from ARAO engineering, supposedly a bolt on set up adding + - 100hp.
Has anyone used these and what have been the results. Naturally the hype is interesting but I am interested from a functional point of view. The site is: [URL=http://www.araoengineering.com/Ford/clevelnd.htm]

Peter Aaardema's 4-valve heads have been around since the '80s. They were originally pushrod-activated with linked rockers operating dual intakes & exhausts- not what one would call a high-tech arrangement. Such a setup is immensly easier to build on straight-valve heads such as Chev small blocks & Ford Windsors. Clevelands and big-block Chevys are the only stagger-valve engines, so these heads must be fairly new or are Windsor conversions. I've never seen any dyno trests published for any engine running these heads. I'd be especially interested in the rev-range of the setup, since 4-valve heads typically make most power at higher rpms, and pushrods in the design seem to limit this. Dunno.....

New special pushrods are in fact part of the package. If you can check around the website you will see some charts that illustrate massive improvements in horsepower and torque. A cam and carb change seem to be the only things required. Hydraulic cams etc. are doable but mechanical seems to be preferred for higher rpms.

I am thinking about building an engine: Dart aluminum block, these heads, and a cross ram fuel injection set-up like the one I saw on Asa Jay's Pantera page.
