Thanks Dennis,I haven't used it yet, just received it yesterday, but I plan to use it this weekend,

Gee, this would make a great mother-in-law seat, huh? A-kinda Pantera rumble seat.
Unfortunately it won't fit with my headers Johnny.

I have the intention this summer of making a working platform which starts outside the car and sits inside the car kind of like that.It would be quite easy to cut up and weld. It would sit through the frame on the ground with a step to get in and a larger work table.

The platform idea is fine. How do you get the decklid out of the way? Put up some support arms for it so it doesn't slam shut on your head.

Mine stays up even with the wing. What I would really like to see is an accesory conversion where the accesories are driven off the flywheel!

I am using the platform to do a carb, valvecover and exhaust change. At least that what it started out to be until I found the broken guide plate. The platform works well. I use a step stool behind the car to step over the tail panel and it makes entry and exit very easy. I will probably screw the tray to the wood so I am not balacing it on the camber bar. I am very happy with the platform it is much better than leaning over the fender and rear window cleaning is a snap. I will post a pic later, my file was too big so I need to shoot it again at a lower res.

Thanks for the feedback. The tool tray is supposed to be screwed down to the wood, I must have forgotten to include the screws!

Here is the pic I tried to attach yesterday.

You know how you can buy the rear section of a 59 Caddy or a Cobra fibergalss trunk and make a soffa out of it for your playroom?
I was thinking of cutting up the Pantera and using Johnny's seat over the ZF.
Do you think it is too much for the guests to have to climb into the engine?
I don't know if I should leave the decklid in place or remove it? What do you think?

Only if the shocks are strong enough to hold it up! (And it would be better if it had a wing.) You wouldn't want it coming down and hitting the in-laws in the head. They probably already think you are a little strange pursuing the expensive Pantera lifestyle. It's not what they had in mind for their daughter.
