June 17 in North Vancouver

I want to go, and I'm going to try be there (with Pantera), but I may have a scheduling conflict with cousins visiting from Europe. I probably won't know for sure until that weekend.

I plan to be there unless something breaks(which has been known to happen on occasion). Just getting some odds and ends fixed up.

Looks like Jeff is coming as well driving a buddy's Ferrari Dino thats for sale. Marcus, let me know as soon as you find out whether you will be able to make it. It looks like we have to meet at the Wall Center Hotel On Burrard St. at around 9 AM so we will be on the first ferry by the looks of it.

I might have to cancel guys. I am having som oil pressure issues that I need to work out. If I can get them done in time I will certainly try to make it.

Blaine, go burn some midnight oil (not in the Pantera!) and I'll meet you in the BC Ferries parking lot for the 7:00am Sunday sailing. I want to follow your beautiful car up Highway 99 to North Vancouver.

Seriously, good luck resolving it. Coincidentally, the 351w in my 1983 F250 also has intermittent oil pressure problems (if you want to call regularly losing all oil pressure after 20 minutes of running "intermittent").

OK, now you can stop reading and go out to the garage...

It looks like my previous post worked... Blaine went out to the garage, worked till midnight, and then got up at an ungodly hour to catch the 7:00am ferry to Vancouver with me. All right!

I did get to follow his beautiful car up Highway 99, and here is a pic to prove it:

First visit for me, and I got to make some new friends: Hello John, Patrick, Wes, and Herman, and your beautiful cars. John, I'll see yours next time.

Yes I did need a bit of a kick in the a$$ to get going. It was a surprisingly good show considering the rain on the way and the fact it looked like it was going to rain any minute. Lots of cars showed up and being we were some of the first to arrive we got to watch them all roll in. Good to see the Vancouver crew again as well as John from south of the border. Hope to do this again next year but we will have to leave a little earlier this year as the traffic was absolutely horrible trying to get back through town to the ferries.
