Today,

Andy, Denis and I were the beneficiaries of a visit from the Montreal gang.

David, Carmen, Michel and Gaetano decided that the day was too perfect to waste on yard work and decided to head to Ottawa for a visit.

We all decided to gather at a great little Italian restaurant in our "Little Italy". Parking, normally a huge issue was quickly resolved by crashing a local software company's parking lot.

We enjoyed a nice lunch and great conversations. Carmen and Gaetano brought their sons Lorenzo and Michael, and Denis, who clearly had his daughter when he was 16, brought his grandson Anthony along. Everyone swapped seats so often we thought the waiter would kill us, but there is always so much to talk about.

As usual, after eating the conversations continue in the parking lot where techniques, upgrades and other stories are shared.

Soon more people started to gather and we had the impromptu car show that seems to always occur when a pack of Panteras takes a rest.

It's always a pleasure visiting fellow Pantera owners, heu! DeTomaso owners, not to leave out Denis superb Mangusta.

In the olden days, we would of had 1 last one for the road' ie. Molson Canadian, but times have changed...Mark treated us to ice cold bottled water, very thoughfull,

Still reeling about the amazing beautiful day. Never a competition, always seeing different things in other people's cars; The way Michel blended his bumpers with the spoilers or the discreet way his wheels were flaired or Gaetano's hot rod special radio antena (who spotted that one?), David's door lights, Carmen's trunk cylinders and prop rod.... I always have fun in this club brotherhood. Never any pissing contest just good clean fun.
Thanks guys I had a great day, can't wait to next weekend.

Denis

ps: If Canada is usually 1/10 of anything in the US, this means 8 cars in Ottawa is like 80 cars in the US right! Wink
Michael, Thanks for the compliments, the photographers and videographers keep using the cars best angles Wink. Mostly the car is happy to be crusing with DeTomasos instead of being parked with Lamboferrattis (sp?) Smiler
